Coming to Prakriti Shakti is like coming home. Th Coming to Prakriti Shakti is like coming home. The place, the people, the food, the process are like a healing embrace.I once spoke to a good friend about the process of doing a deep cleanse and she said it sounded like an Ayahuasca journey. I've never experienced Ayahuasca, but deep cleansing heals you on all levels. Emotionally, physicallyl, spiritually, and cellularly. It's not always easy, but it is deeply rewarding and transformational. I am so grateful to be able to go on this annual journey. I've come out lighter, clearer, and deeply nourished and healed. Om Namah Shivaya 🕉 🙏🏽

Another wonderful trip to the Maldives 🇲🇻 is comin Another wonderful trip to the Maldives 🇲🇻 is coming to an end. This year it is even more special. Some of you might know that I recently had a suspicious rare type of tumor found in the muscular tissue of my uterus from a biopsy on July 1st.I was told by my gynecologist on July 14th that it was cancer and to cancel all Travel plans for the next three months (we had a big trip planned to Maldives, India, Spain for my parent's 50yr wedding anniversary, and Davos). From one day to the next our world was turned upside down and all we could focus on was getting bloods, MRI, CT scan, and an appointment with a gynecological oncologist. This all happened within 5 days.Thankfully the oncologist gave us good news and the green light to go on a shorter version of our trip as even if it was cancer it hadn't spread and was slow growing. A hysterectomy (with possible removal of ovaries if it was cancer) was scheduled for September 15th. She said that a hysterectomy was the only way of confirming what it wa. We felt so grateful that we could still have a break away from what was ahead of us and most importantly, be there for my parents on their special day.Fast forward to three days into our holiday and the oncologist requests a telehealth this past Wednesday to discuss the MRI results and the MDT's (multi disciplinary team) analysis of the tumor. We were ready for the worst and could not believe our ears when she told us that the tumor was a benign fibroid and that I would not need surgery. She told us that it was not often that she was able to give such good news and once again our worlds were turned upside down, but this time in the best way possible. It's still sinking in and there is so much to unpack and process and learn from this experience. I am so grateful for all my loved ones that have shown up for us in the most inspiring and beautiful way. It is so heartwarming to know just how loved and supported we are. 🙏🏽❤️As much as I don't wish this roller coaster ride on anyone, life has a mysterious way of sometimes turning your world upside down and giving you the biggest lessons in moments of difficulty and challenge. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes 🙏🏽🥰. 45 f Thank you for all of the birthday wishes 🙏🏽🥰. 45 feels significant on a lot of levels (5 more years to 50 🙃!). Lots of inner and external shifts happening. Lots of humbling experiences, especially recent surgery (minor, recovering well 😊), love, highs, lows, and everything in between, time for healing, reflection and connection.Had a beautiful afternoon with good friends filling our bellies with an Indian feast and lots of laughs. So nice to disconnect from work and my phone for most of the day. My heart is full and grateful 😍.
